Celebrations Preschool, Inc. was founded in 1975 by two special education teachers who recognized the need for a quality preschool, pre-kindergarten, and kindergarten program in the Hispanic community. These two bright and compassionate teachers realized that some of the Spanish-speaking children in their school were not intellectually deficient as some educators presumed. They simply did not know the English language well enough to progress in-step with the other children in their classes. As a result, Celebrations was formed. 

Celebrations is the only private, full-time bilingual preschool, pre-kindergarten, and certified kindergarten program in Oklahoma City that provides quality academic opportunities for Non-English-speaking children to learn English and school readiness skills. Dramatic advances in language, social and pre-academic skills are realized by our students. Fulfilling our mission, “Celebrations teaches English to Non-English-speaking preschool and kindergarten children while enriching their families and communities”, and meeting our goal of preparing students to enter first grade on the same level as their English-speaking peers is at the heart of everything we do, every day. We are proud to report that we have been successful in reaching this goal for the past 32years, and plan to do so for many years to come.
